On Tuesday 17th February 2015 European Business had the pleasure of hosting Tea Dietterich, CEO of 2M Language Services. 2M specialises in translations with publication quality into 170+ languages including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages. Tea is a board member of Australian Business in Europe – France and the Rosetta Foundation, an organisation focused on social justice, development and inclusion through equal access to information and knowledge across all languages.

Tea shared her experience of the ever evolving technologies allowing rapid translation of large amounts of text. She highlighted how the latest programs used in her field are assisting global businesses with efficient and consistent development of documents, such as policies and operating manuals, to be released across their international, multilingual organisations. Tea also discussed the importance of clear communication, including conversation, documentation and observation of  local business etiquette in fostering  prosperous multilingual business relationships.

Overall it was a fantastic evening at Campari House with a rare opportunity to hear from a trail-blazer in a crucial aspect of global business. European Business would like to thank Tea and all those who were able to make it on the night.
